We are pleased to be involved with FANN17, the fifth biennial Festival of Architecture organised by the Norfolk Association of Architects.
The main NAA Architect’s Exhibition is at The Forum in Norwich from October 3 to 13 and will also feature the finalists of the FANN17 photography competition.
Jeremy Irwin, president of NAA said “It is a celebration of architecture in the county and the work of local architects.”
Other events include an Architectural Walk on October 7 and 14 at 11.00 am starting outside Surrey House in Norwich which will explore the legacy of architects Edward Boardman and George Skipper around the city.
On Thursday November 2 there will also be the 2017 Norwich Lecture at UEA Enterprise Centre at 7pm. The annual lecture will be given by Peter St John, a partner at Caruso St John Architects which won the 2016 Stirling Prize for the Newport Street Gallery in Vauxhall for Damien Hirst.
Other highlights include; a PechaKucha evening at Cinema City; Hat-itecture – children’s activities at Norwich Castle Museum Art Gallery during half-term; Architecture on Film – classic films at Cinema City, in which architecture shapes dystopian landscapes.
